Not-so-Random Random Thoughts of a Writer
I wasn't all that impressed with the Kindle in the first place -- buying a reader that uses a proprietary format, and makes you jump through hoops to convert, is ridiculous. If they discontinue, go under, upgrade to something radically different -- which plenty of computer manufacturers have done, and this is just a more limited version of computer hardware -- you could be left with hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of unreadable e-books. Umm, no.That said, I'm not an Apple fan either. I'll keep reading my e-books on my desktop and laptop until something comes along that satisfies my admittedly picky self.Angie
I agree. And really? I'm Old Skool. Nothing's better than holding a real book in your hands.
